Hertfordshire Careers Hub in partnership with HFL Education present two Teacher Encounter Events that aim to: 

• Enable Teachers & their students to be better prepared for apprenticeship recruitment, application and early stages of their career.
• Teachers will also be more confident advising young people applying for apprenticeships during the recruitment process.

Event 1: For Staff supporting Year 13 Leavers

24th JUNE @ SKY STUDIOS ELSTREE 9AM (FOR 9.30AM START) UNTIL 3.30PM

EVENT AIMED AT HEADS OF SIXTH FORM, SIXTH FORM STAFF, CAREERS LEADERS, FORM TUTORS, TEACHERS & STAFF SUPPORTING YEAR 13 LEAVERS INTO HIGHER & DEGREE APPRENTICESHIPS.

EVENT HOSTED BY SKY STUDIOS ELSTREE IN COLLABORATION WITH MORGAN SINDALL, WILLMOTT DIXON & MBDA.

24TH JUNE SKY 9AM-3.30PM

Agenda to include:

• CV’s and what modern day application process looks like. Referencing Apprenticeships Twin Track include some of Sky/Morgan Sindall/MBDA approaches.
• Natalie Sidey Willmott Dixon Brand Me Workshop.
• Assessment Centre x2 different tasks (practical vs mental task) for Teachers.
• Lunch.
• Q&A panel of degree apprentices, interns/apprentices.
• Feedback for assessment centre tasks.
• Useful resources- Planning time for Teachers to reflect on what found most useful and plan in how they will use the resources in their own school for 2025-2026.
• Optional tour of Sky Studios 3.30pm-4pm.

EVENT HOSTED BY AIRBUS IN COLLABORATION WITH TESCO, THE NHS & SUPPORT FROM MORGAN SINDALL PROPERTY SERVICES.

26TH JUNE AIRBUS 9AM-3.30PM

Agenda to include:

• CVs and what modern day application process looks like for Year 11s include some of Airbus/Tesco and NHS approaches.
• Assessment Centre x2 different tasks (practical vs mental task) for Teachers.
• Lunch
• Q&A panel of apprentices from Airbus/Tesco/NHS/Morgan Sindall Property Services (trades).
• Feedback for assessment centre tasks.
• Useful resources- Planning time for Teachers to reflect on what found most useful and plan in how they will use the resources in their own school for 2025-2026.
• Optional Tour of Airbus at 3.30pm-4pm.
